Hi,
I am selling my 1985 Euro 300TD. I have only had the car since June and I was thinking I was going to make biodiesel, but it just seemed like too much hassle and investment. I never even tried running the car on biodiesel. The car has 246XXX miles and runs very well. It starts on the first try every time, even on the coldest mornings and it does not smoke. The front seats are firm and the interior is not in bad shape. The car was in some sort of front end collision, but it does not appear to have been major. The corner of the hood is just bent up a little. The steering is a little vague and I purchased a part (idler arm maybe?) to fix it, but I have not put it on. The car also leaks a few drops of oil a night, but I have not really had to add any oil to it. The leak appears to come from the oil pan edge and from the back of the valve cover. I have a new valve cover gasket, and I was planning on putting it on when I adjusted the valves, which I also have just not gotten around to. I put correct bosch Euro headlights on the car and they make a huge difference in light output. In the interest of being honest there is also some rust around the jacking points and rocker. This car is very highly optioned for a euro car with power everything, ABS, rear headrests, and a turbo. It is a strong running car and pleasant to drive. I just have too many projects. I am planning on buying new tires for the car tomorrow because the ones on it now are shot. The roof rack in th pictures will not be included with the car. The car passed inspection about a month ago and is located in High Point, NC. PM me if you are interested or have any questions.
Thanks,
Shane
