Pre-sale pic's 190E & 300CD...... - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I am fairly certain that by the end of this week I will be selling off two of what will then be 4 MBs located in south Florida. Here are a few pic's of each, I have more if anyone is interested.....
The 190E is a 5 speed in real nice shape Has a brand new suspension with springs , and shocks and handles like nobody's business. Ice cold AC, excellent interior......new Kumhos, Katmac Euro hlights, and 6.5" MB Quarts in the rear deck , 4" Boston Acoustics in the front dash. The Pioneer HU will be replaced with a Clarion HU so I can keep my Sirius set up. Asking 4,700. firm.
The 300CD is an unfinished project... that I listed here last week or 2 ago.....Asking 5,500 & comes with a complete 4 speed manual trannie from a 240D. I have about 7,000 in parts-n labor in to this in last 6 months or so....

I met Austin the other day and we went to the three WPB junkyards. His 190 is a very nice looking car.

That is a VERY nice looking 190. Good 190's are scarce nowadays. The only thing that would scare me off would be the rust belt license plate.

Rust belt??

That is a fake plate.

AFAIK the only time this car went through PA was on the top of a flatbed.

I have not found any rust anywhere in, on, under....or in between this 190.

Gotcha

I wouldn't put that on there if I was selling it though. Fake an Arizona plate or something.

Actually, if I was selling a car, I wouldn't put DEAD HEAD on there either. That might send the wrong message to some people.

But, whutever........

Seriously, if you were buying a Mercedes Benz you mean that the type of vanity plate or what might be hanging from the rear view mirror is something you take into conderation in your PPI?

Trust me there are no pot seeds under the floormats, and the stereo is awesome!!

Uhhh, Garcia croaked from something a bit stronger than pot as I recall.

It's just basic marketing.

Maybe only one prospective customer out of 10,000 might be turned off by the possible druggie message, but that might be the one with $5000 burning a hole in his pocket and a jones for a 190 5 speed.

I will remove the Deadhead plate this week, but the IMPEACH OUR PRESIDENT bumper sticker stays!!!!

He had some issues for sure but al in all was a pretty sucessful musician.......

His guitars are in The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and people pay to go see them.

Let's just leave it that the 2,314 shows that The Dead played are symbolic of the durability of a Good Ol Mercedes Benz.....

Yeppers, I enjoyed some his music myself, but there's no denying it carries some druggie baggage.

If he could have stayed off the dope, he might still be making music that people would enjoy.
