Great seeing you guys! John is a great tech not to mention and good friend. Picked up the TD and it was a nice cruise back to the house. I wanted to apologize for not cooking something for you guys, but I came down with a bug and feel like total crap. I didn't kiss anyone there, so you should be safe.

Kev, that's part of the reason we didn't stop by also, we knew you weren't feeling well. I am going to make it up there though. George and Tom, great to meet you both.

John brought up a good point, and Deb and I were talking on the way home. We need to plan a GTG in the Outer Banks. I was thinking March would be before tourist season, and probably not too cold. I am travelling two weeks in there somewhere, I think the second and third weeks, so those are out for me. So, I'm thinking March 1st, 8th, or 29th. Gotta get the cheaper hotel rates. Suggestions?

You know, that sounds like a great idea! I have some pull with Sheraton and Holiday Inn as that I have about a kajillion points with them due to all my traveling and should be able to get some good rates and a meeting room. Let's start a new GTG thread and get this thing going! Great seeing you and Deb again Tony and I'm going to stay on you to get the SD up to snuff for the GTG!

Tony, just saw the SD in your sig saying it "needs a name". I think John already named it.

tony- call this guy, www.odometergears.com my best guess as thats whats wrong with the odometer. I've talked to him in the past, pretty cool guy, sounds like he works out of his home. take it out and see if the group of three gears on the side are missing any teeth.

Here's also the pics kevin took yesterday of our mini tech session I gave on how to fail at sunroof repair...

Not only that, but it sits pretty low and rides like a go cart! On the way home Saturday I noticed a car load of kids in a ricer staring and pointing at my car with what appeared to be admiration. They were in a 350Z, I believe.

So, what's not to love about it?
And did you get the roof working?
Sort of looks like a gubmint job... one supervisor for each worker!
Whoa, wait. "How to fail at roof repair"? Hope that didn't require a quick trip to WalMart for duct tape and polypropelene sheeting for the ride home?

Not at all, Jim. It wasn't raining that day.

Sunroof repair is like life: It's not a destination. It's a journey . . .
