Seller's Comments
Fully loaded, Highway miles, Looks & runs great, Must see, New paint, New tires, Performance tires, Power everything, Runs & drives great, Well maintained, Hard Top, Hard Top Stand, Hard Top Cover, Wind- Break, Inspections sticker is 9/08 , Will come with Brand new Convertible Top (present one's side windows are cracked) for the asking price if negotiated this is off the table. ............ Asking $12,000 O.B.O .......... Last 80,000 highway miles are in the last 2 years. This has been a daily driver for a salesman. Car runs Great and looks Great. Does have one issue though. The hydraulics to put the soft-top up & down are leaking. You can still put it up manually or if you are mechanically inclined and can take them out I will give information on getting them professionally rebuilt for around $300. This is a common problem on these cars. The car also comes with the DVD manual software, this software is very complete and covers all parts and procedures with step by step instructions with pictures. Very expensive software. Car will have a fresh Mobil One FULL Synthetic oil change when purchased and has always had this top of the line oil with every change. Car rides very smooth and has normal wear and tear. on the interior. This is a more than fair price on this car and it will only increase in value as summer approaches This car is UNBELIEVABLE in the summer on a hot day. The wind-break works great both in the city and at highway speeds. This car is very economical with the 6 cylinder and gets around 23 MPG on the highway. Any questions call cel. 757-621-6890 or email [email]rswoodley@cox.net I have many photos I can send you. Thanks and Be Blessed
Ross

My 2 Cents-

Hey guys! Just ran a VMI on this car, and she's CLEAN!!!!

The best news? The wiring harness was replaced under warranty with new style in 1998! You're good to go-

Just thought I would throw in some input since the VIN is there...

Its does look very nice. Price is kind too.

What was the reason for the new paint? And where does the hydro fluid leak to?

convertible top hydraulics on SL320

The hydraulic system on the SL320 top is a thing of beauty and it is very durable. My 1995 Sl320 top still works perfectly with 100,000 miles. For some reason people seem to think that this system will operate flawlessly forever.Eventually it will need repair. It is part of the cost of ownership of an SL.So why lower the price of your SL just because it needs repairs? You can have the hydraulic seals replaced for $30 each unit, reinstall it and drive your car another 100,000 miles. The fun and the exclusivity of the SL is the electronic hydraulic ragtop. It is unique among elite sportcars.Would you sell your SL cheap and get rid of it if it needs an $800 brake job or waterpump? No of course not.So why do it for a convertible top malfunction? Just fix it baby and keep driving the beast.Unless you can afford to fork over $100,000 for a 2008 SL55 that is.

Where is it now? The car was no longer listed. Is it still available?
