1987 190e 2.3 - SOCAL $600
My friend is selling this car, it's not mine. Located in Laguna Niguel, CA (south OC).
It's dark blue with the palomino interior. Automatic. odemeter is stopped at 87k, NO idea what it's really at, but it's in okay condition. The paint still looks great, a couple dents here and there and a few scratches. Needs a new front bumper. Engine runs good, tranny shifts well, brakes work great. However, it takes a couple tries to get the engine to start... replaced the fuel pressure regulator and some other parts, small improvement but it still takes awhile. The car has no title and hasn't been registered for at least two years. Basically, my friend bought the car a year ago from some guy and planned on getting everything squared away... but then he had a baby so the car was put into storage. He DOES have the duplicate title form signed by the previous owner, so it is possible to get it titled and registered, but it will cost a couple hundred. Needs a new cat converter and a new manifold (current one is cracked) but a new cat and manifold are included with the car. He paid $1100 for it a year ago, we sank a ton of time and a couple hundred fixing stuff on it, but he's willing to let it go for $600. Send me a PM if you're interested. Off the top of my head, the parts we replaced include: Spark plugs, oil filter, transmission filter, brake pads, brake booster hose, fan clutch + fan, front driver's seat, rear bumper, a few other things I'll add when I remember them. |
