That might be fun if you live on a farm or had somewhere like that to keep it. My neighbors would defnitely frown on that if I parked it out in front of my house. I'd be getting nasty letters from the HOA.

Man. If only I had about $10K eating a hole in my pocket... I figure another $3500 above the purchase price would get it running very nicely...

I'd love to just drive one of them once. They probably beat the crap out of you, but I bet they're fun.

oh they will... believe me! I had a guy run the Suburban off the road on I-270! I ended up on the shoulder!

That would be such a fun truck... But you are right, you need a farm or at least a couple hundred acres to play with it in...

Putting a turbo diesel in it would be cool.. I am assuming it has a NA engine, don't all 'Mogs come with a non-turbo or am I smoking stuff again?

"To play with it in?" Are you kidding? I was talking about just to PARK it. Putting a turbo on one sounds like a great project.

Looks like a swiss radio truck which, unfortunately, usually means a gas engine.

The ones worth real money are the DOKA 406s etc. with the diesel, and better still an airport tug with the torque-converter.

Where it goes from 3 lanes to 2 North of Germantown? Hate those *********s who drive up the merge lane until the last second then try to cut in. I'd love to see the look on their face when they look over and only see wheel and tire

Unimogs in Nova Scotia - see ebay

There is an outfit in Dartmouth, NS (next door to Halifax) that regularly imports and sells Swiss army Unimogs. There is an almost perfect one on eBay right now for a lot less than 10K.

The guy gets them through the NS certification process, which should make it easier to license in a US state or another Canadian province.

I guess you'd need a monster truck to be safe on the roads around here! I used to think the drivers in NY were agressive, but now I'm not sure. I think the DC drivers may be worse.
