People really need to learn how to write ads and list cars. No interior pics, no options listing, nada.

I really question if people want to sell and/or get a decent price or not when they can't spend 1/2 hour to do a proper ad.

Auctioned closed at $9600 with the reserve unmet. What does he want for it? The 4-matics seem to be going really cheap right now. What's up with that?

The seller wants to get around $13k for it. Worth the money- but then again, as we know- a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.... $13k is not out of the realm of reality

That would be top dollar right now I think for that car. He may get it if he finds the right buyer. It's amazing to me how low the resale value is on those cars. Seems to be plenty of them on the market right now. Are they all worn out after 80,000 miles? I suspect if I ever get one it will have the starmark or some other warranty.

Tell me about it. For my near mint condition with P2 pkg / xenon's / leather / 3rd seat etc, the dealer, I had just paid $6000 to in recent repairs offered me $7,500 in trade on a retail priced certified 2005 E500 4matic Wagon they had. I just laughed, and said I guess I'll just keep it, and probably rethink buying another Mercedes wagon if their resale is that bad. That might be what trade-in is for it, but it was just too painful to do after just paying for the recent maintenance repairs. Maybe next month when the E500 Wagon has depreciated another $5000 and mine has bottomed out it will feel better.
