I have an 83 all manual 240d with 195k on it in great cosmetic condition to be sold for parts or drop in a good engine and go. Everything in good shape except engine. Was using oil and wife ran it almost out toasting the engine. Not locked up but no good. Needs to be rebuilt. Tranny in great shape. Few other issues not big though.
Passenger window crank spring or gears not good. $80 part from Mercedes or $20 from junk yard. Window falls into door without support. A/c does not blow cold. Heater works great. Has sunroof. Only rust on whole car depicted in one of the pics. Very Very minor. Underneath of car, not one rust spot or anywhere else for that matter.
Located about 50 miles north of Houston in Plantersville. Need it gone--$600 Great deal. Many Many great parts in great condition. Only 25k miles on brand new Bilstein shocks all the way around. Seats all in fabulous shape. No saggy springs or big tears/rips.
Look for other thread for 82 240d for more exterior pics. It is an 83 though. Thought 82 on first posting.
