Hi all,

I buddy of my old neighbor has a 1990 300e with between 60 and 70K miles on the clock. The odometer is broken and stuck at 50K.

I have personally seen this car and I can agree with the no more then 70K miles on it.

He brought teh car over yesterday, but unfortunately i didn;t have my digital camera so I couldn't take any pictures.

What I did notice is the car looks like it has few miles on it, the dash is nice and clean, no cracks, no tears or rips in the leather seats, not even the all so common brush marks on the bolster.

The wood is in really nice shape (almost perfect, only a few slight/light cracks in the poly of the shifter console (I've seen alot worse) I would rate a 9 out of 10 for the wood.

It was cold out and snow was on the ground so I didn;t look under it.

I saw no rust, never been body-shopped, 2 owner (don't think smoked in either)

I would seriously like to buy this car, but I've decided to put my money in precious metals for the upcoming hyper-inflation phase of our economic cycle.

The owner also owns 2 other cars and 2 other trucks, so five vehicles is a little excessive for him.

Only known problem is the blower motor doesn't blow any air, could be dirty corroded contacts, or could be blower motor itself/blower regulator/climate control.

On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the car a 9 out of 10 for looks.

Color is the bronze type color in the 80's and 90's

sounds like a good deal...but it is awfully suspicious for an odometer to go out at 50k

I agree about the odometer, but from the condition of the interior, I'd tend to believe the owner's estimate of 60-70K miles.

I really wouldn't mind buying this car, but at the moment I don't have the finances readily available,,,

as you can see from the pictures, the mileage is about right, when you look at thte lack of wear and tear to the interior.
