OK, I'm re-posting with more accurate info and lower prices.

#1, '82 300TD Wagon, 234K on the clock, but actual mileage unknown. Beige exterior w/ light brown (palomino?)interior. Runs and drives, but tranny slips sometimes going into second and engine has an oil leak, Good Tires, Suspension feels tight, Valves adjusted recently, A/C was serviced by PO and claimed to work well, but it hasn't been warm enough to verify. Interior is very good, no rips in seats, etc. Does not have 3rd seat. Paint is not good, the SC sun has taken its toll on the clear coat and paint is peeling on hood. It has the round headlights. Dash lights don't work. Dash has cracks. At least one window is not working. Has rust around rear windows and bottom of left rear quarter. Power locks not working. asking $1700 obo

Rust Free, Good Tires, Valves adjusted recently, A/C was serviced by the PO and claimed to work well, but it hasn't been warm enough to verify. Interior is clean, but both front seats have rips and the driver's seat is pretty soft. Has the 3rd seat. Has a slight vibration at about 40mph that feels like a tire or wheel. Paint is not good, clear coat is peeling. It has the headlights that are plastic (euro style?) asking $2600 obo

A/C in the green one is cold. It got up to 75 degrees yesterday, so I tried it out.

I'd like to learn more about the '84 wagon. I live in Asheville NC and have a dodge caravan that I would love to sell and replace it with a diesel. I am really interested in the mercedes, especially the wagons. What kind of mileage does it get? Do you ever visit the Asheville area? What has your experience been like with the turbo? The Green '84 is sold, pending inspection on Sunday. Now who wants the tan '82? Make me an offer!!!

OK the Green '84 is officially gone. Tan '82 still available.

I now know what's up with the tan wagon. The oil leak is from the base of the turbo oil tube. I have read the threads on how to fix it. I ordered the parts from fastlane and will fix it this week. The tranny was adjusted to try to soften the shifting for the po's wife. This is causing a flare when going from 2nd to 3rd. I am going to take it to the shop and have that adjusted. After its fixed I'll take it on a trip to make sure everything is ok. Need to sell. No reasonable offer refused.
