WTB: W123 OEM Manuals

I am looking for the original manuals: Vol 1 and Vol 2. Also wouldn't mind getting hands on the A/C manual either.

How 'bout some of you guys who already know more than god about these things sell your old books and let someone else learn?

I thank you, and if my car wasn't dead, she would thank you too.

Hi,

Check http://www.mb-classic-collection.com/ I've ordered manuals there before, it was way cheaper then the prices people asked on ebay for used manuals in bad condition.

This is from the site:
The Onlineshop of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Collection is offered by EVO Eitel + Volland GmbH on behalf of the Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz Classic Center.

So i guess it's all OEM.

I think so. Went to the site and although it has some English on it, there isn't enough for me to be sure that I am clicking on the right thing. For 90Euros I would want to be certain. I don't sprachen you see? You'd think 20+ year old info would be cheaper....but I know that is what the market is bearing.

When I buy a new car, I always immediately also order the available shop manuals. Did that for my 1971 Chevrolet Impala - sold the car last month but still have the manuals. Also did that in 1983 when I bought my 1983 300D. They were expensive in 1983. I have pristine condition (only dirty on the few pages I had to look at while working) three manuals:

Service Manual, Chassis and Body, Series 123, Volume 1

Maintenance Manual USA, Passenger Cars, Volume 2, Starting Model Year 1981

Service Manual, Engine 617.95, Turbo Diesel

At that time, they would not sell the climate control manual. I'd like to complete my set. I think a complete set would be 4 manuals, right?

Charles
