Hmm. Not a 5k car, thats for sure. Fully federalized and rusty.
Last 5 speed diesel I saw was a 300td with 130k go for 5k. Still kicking myself...

Although that rust looks like a nick in the paint that just took off, which if there are only two or three isn't a big deal. One jackhole point rusted is a piece of cake. Sometimes this is an indication that more is happening but from this picture it doesn't look to bad. Its worthy of a closer look. I would like to drive it, or go for a ride in it to see what the 5 speed is like. I mean bascially thats the only real excitment in this car, otherwise what would it be? Another $2,000 300D.....

It's an interesting car but the rust, no A/C, no turbo and goofy cloth seats are much more of a turnoff than the 5 speed and the euro bumpers add back into the equation.
Then there is the issue of "you can't test drive it because I've had a bad experience in the past" in the FAQ section. Give me a break, the guy is acting like he has a F40 Ferrari or something. Unless I'm shopping for a parts car I don't buy a car until I've had a chance to drive it. Deal breaker for me.
