Agree. I've seen (drooled) at your ads on CL.

The 10K mile GM crate engine/transmission alone in this car is worth what I'm asking.

Serious price reduction!!!

Some crack junkie walked off with the AC evaporator, condensor and all new custom hoses I just had made up. I had the AC system out of the car sitting on the wood deck in my back yard. The evaporator and condensor coils tied together with new hoses. Cleaned, capped off and charged checking for any leaks. It had been holding for a few days, went to check it and it's gone. Along with my lawn mower and some power tools. I wonder what its scrap value was???

I'm dropping the price of the car to $2K due to the missing AC components. That is the value of the GM eng/trans. A steal at this price.

Or, buy my house and I'll give you the car. Its time to move.

Yep.

It was working but I had a small leak so, I had pulled the entire sytem to check each component. New hoses were attached and it was charged up to 100psi with a gauge connected. I watched the pressure daily for a few weeks while it sat on the deck outside. They must have needed it real bad to carry it all as an ass'y. I figure they used the lawn mower as a cart.
I'm pretty sure I know the suspect however, chances of recovering the W108 AC stuff is nil at this point.

Has this thing sold yet?

Also, sorry to hear about the A/C system. Interesting fact: Scrap yards wont take em'! I do alot of scrapping and I have to cut the condensers out of the cars, as well as out of refrigerators before the scrap yard will take them.
