Greetings All,

I am getting out of the W123 aspect of our hobby. I have an 81 240D Euro, 4 speed with an excellent body and good interior. The engine is gone, it swallowed a vacuum impeller and broke the timing chain and cam. I pulled the engine and have a donor car, 82 U.S. 240D with an engine that starts up and runs very well. The guy I bought the donor from, said that the engine was rebuilt and never run. I timed it and it started right up. I was told that the injector pump was also just rebuilt. The donor 240D has a trailer hitch on it. The donor has an automatic. I also have a Total rust bucket 240D, which also has a 4 speed in it. The engine is in pieces. I was told that the transmission is in excellent shape. The Euro has a Georgia title. The other two don't have titles. Come get all three for $1,000. The Euro has very good tires and matching hubcaps.

Wow.....I believe this post was created by satan to tempt me. Perfect color and years for me too....and $1000 is a screaming deal. The thought of trailering all 3 to PA makes my head hurt though.

How much for the 240D in good shape with no motor? I don't need the motor and it would be easier for me to get one with the engine already removed.

what part of GA is millen in?

Millen is about 50 miles south of Augusta. I will sell either of the three cars separately. I have a rust-bucket parts car with a good 4-speed-come get it.

I have the Euro that needs an engine, say $600 and I have an 82 240D with a good running engine, let's say $500.
