You're going to be hard put to find one. Few, if any, were imported as they weren't desirable. I've seen a few euro 5spd wagons/230/260Es in Canada, but importing can be a *****. I've also a few 90's American 190E 2.3/2.6 5spds here.
What are your needs/what are your plans for the car? Do you need it for the tranny or as a driver? If you're looking for a driver, the best you'll probably do is trying to get one federalized in from canada. If you're looking for a '90's 5spd for a build you might try an early 90's 190E (for a regular duty 5spd) or a 300SL (for a Getrag). Good Luck.

Currently mine 1992 124.026 is working hard.
Few coin sized rust spots (Canadian EH), no major issues. M103 is just over 310 K km - questionable donor. looking for a next toy. Requirements: 1.summer daily city commuter 2.at least once a month Toronto - Chicago 3.Weekend fun car with kids (must have four seats - is it 380SL?) What are the advantages of GERTRAC? 300SL is an R129 convertible. Strictly 2-seater.
Getrag is the higher performance (or 'sportier') transmission. It came in the 16v's & 300SL's mostly. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a w124 stick up in Canada. All of us down here in the states are stuck with the auto's.

Canada has the same market conditions as US. No manuals E were on MBs price list since 1988.
Blame the consumers. Thanks for the en light on GETRAC. I am looking for people who has experience bringing cars to North America from Europe. Canada has some of-leash regulations for 15-years and older cars. Does it worth it ? |

As far as importing into canada, if its 15 years or older its pretty easy to get it in,
Ive done the math, as I was going to import some G-Wagens. Its $1600 to cross the pond, then about $1000 to get from halifax to Ontario. So the price of the car just jumped $2600, now when you factor in the risk factor for buying a car without seeing it or flying over to check it out, add $1000. Now it gets worse, The Euro is pretty high relative to US/CAD right now, so its even less favorable, in fact some people in europe are importing cars from us... Keep watching the market, and have your cash ready, I have seen 5 5speed 300 Es for sale in the past year. I even saw a 5spd 300 CE,

I had this gray market 86 230E a few years ago that was a 4-spd.
Right now I have a 95 W140 with a 5-speed. |
