a very solid '87 300d with 211,000 miles that runs VERY strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. Recently serviced by a Carlsbad Mercedes specialist and given an excellent bill of health.
This model has the 6 cylinder turbo and it is a pleasure to drive. The body and interior are in
great shape for it's age. Sunroof works but 1 rear power window just stopped working, the rest work fine. The a/c does not blow very
cold, it needs to be drained and converted to R134, I have this retrofit DIY kit. Has a brand
new kenmore cd player with Ipod jack. Does NOT leak any oil!!
I am asking $4200. This MBZ is an excellent WVO conversion candidate.
As is, it gets over 25-30MPG and if you were willing to sacrifice some of the power from the Turbo you could increase this to 30-35mpg!!!
