We have an original, red, 560SL with just over 23K miles on the odometer.
It has been well maintained, and driven only in summer.

The car is in the north suburbs of Chicago, IL.

We are not MB experts but expect that the car will sell for around $18,500 based on what we have seen and been told.

that price is possible. with these cars, buyers are less price cautious. there's an '86 here in northern kentucky with 34,000 miles, fairly correct, white on blue, for $15,900 (reduced from 20k), which one could probably buy for 13k. yours sounds very nice, i'm sure pix would help spur on the interest here.

They are detail shots of jack points, engine compartment, interior, trunk and soft top, along with an overall shot of the car.

It is raining here today which has hampered my ability to get good pictures.

Use a site like photobucket- and then the icon that looks like a letter with a stamp- it the insert image icon. cut and paste the address into the pop up box. Good luck selling the car. One question- who is "we"? Dealers are not allowed here is the reason I ask.
