I have for sale a 1955 Mercedes Benz 300B Sedan with factory installed Limosine Conversion. I am asking $16,000.00 for the car O.B.O. The vehicle will need restoration but it is in great condition to be original and over fifty years old. All parts come with the car. I have not found actual production figures of the Limo style cars but it is very rare. The car has all of the original documentation as well. I even have the production cards from Germany. The Engine, Transmission, and Rear End have all been completely gone through and re-built. The car has been in storage for nearly 30 years and has been properly stored with gas tank removed as well as the radiators and exhaust. The radiators have been re-cored and the starter generator has been re-built. The engine will need to have the bolt-ons (starter, radiator, carburators, etc) re-installed and will take some tinkering to get running again since it sat for so long. If the car does not sell soon, I will re-assemble it, get it in driving condition, and raise the price considerably. One similar cosmetic condition to this car but running brought over $27000 on Ebay and the seller no-saled it at that price. Nice examples of this vehicle bring upwards to $60,000. This is a great deal for the right collector. The interior is complete and in fair to good condition. Even the headliner is still nice. I can tell you the entire owner history of the vehicle. Any parts not shown installed on the car are in my garage. I also have some spare parts that come along with the car, including an extra transmission. Please email or call me with any questions.
