Checking price range- w116 euro 280SE with 4 speed
My indie has a w116 280SE with the 2.8 DOHC and a manual four speed. No, and I mean zero, rust, stored in a garage so the interior is perfect- yes- perfect. 54K miles- original miles. Paint is flawless. Euro bumpers. A/C is the inside the car unit above the passenger's feet. One owner car with records. He's asking me what the market is and what he might price it at. Sorry no pics right now.

That thing is so rare that it is really hard to say what it would be worth. Might be really hard to find the right hard core MB enthusiast to buy it.

Without more info impossible to say what it might be. Why was it so well preserved in a garage? Not run in years? Any problems etc.

I said 4 to 5 but I imagine it will take just the right buyer. I would advertise it on the internet...maybe ebay.

My goodness there are some cheapskates here. I was first to vote for the 4-5k range and I thought that was conservative.
