i just got a 300sl amg im looking to trade for a clk mercedes ... it has 50k miles on it custom stereo kicker amps for the inside speakers ipod ready cd deck 2 tops ... i guess it needs a cap and rotor from what i have heard on here .. im going to replace that it has new 18 inch amg rims and nittto tires you can call me at 608 247 1868 if your interested

yeah the guy i got it from thought is was cool to put v12 sl600 emblems on it ..

If you really want to sell this car, I would suggest removing the car bra, V12 badging, and put the wheels on.

Then get a photobucket account and post bigger pictures.

Also, a more detailed description of the history of the car: Major repair work done? How many owners? Maint. History?

and, of course, an asking price.

On the bright side, it looks like a nice car.

Also I believe in this case, the "AMG" part is a misnomer, as I can't see anything AMG about the car (not to mention it would be most likely an SL60 or SL73 if it were legitimately an AMG r129 in the US market)

it has an amg plaque right under the shifter so i assumed it was an amg ... am i wrong ? it also has amg rims and badge

1. Its not an actual AMG tuned car. A previous owner added those stickers, which means little to nothing.

2. Those are not AMG wheels currently on the SL

idk i got the car just like it is .. i have owned bmw my whole life this is my 1st benz .. i know what i was told ... there is the amg sign on the center cap ... so silly me thought they were amg

well like i said it was my 1st benz so i didnt know much about it i traded an m3 convertible for it ... but im really tryin to find a clk430 or 320 to trade for ... i think that would be a fair trade ... what is the car worth ?
