Not saying that the 6.9 isn't classy, but come on man, Mercedes as well as AMG have progressed much beyond those days. Today, this car really is a classic, even if it is an s124.

I owned a 6.9, and a 6.3 as well. It's a nice car because it's real and period correct AMG. You may not like it, but that's a question of taste. That does not make it a POS.

You'd like my 190E AMG that is being worked on currently. Widebody kit, 28K miles, all period-correct AMG gear, and 6.0 SOHC motor with ~340HP. I even have a mint set of black Recaro C electrics I might throw in there.

It'll be for sale eventually.
