Hello

Well, much to my dismay I've made the decision to sell my 1978 Red with tan interior Mercedes 240D which I purchased in California and had shiped to Iowa last December. My son is now 16 and we recently purchased him a newer car to drive.
The car is located at zip code 52625, Donnellson, Iowa.
Clear title.
The cars been driven daily since the day I got it. She's not real speedy yet when at HWY speeds it drives well. The odometer is stuck at 142K however it occasionally seems to work. (I'm sure the milage is higher but I haven't a clue). The car runs pretty well. In the cold weather we had last December it started without fail ALMOST every day, however, there were so really cold days that I struggled to get her started. Recently I've noticed that the battery will lose charge after about 3 days. Not sure what the deal is with that but with a charged battery it works just fine.

Since this car spent its entire life in CA, it's rust free. The paint is not original yet matches the original factory red.
The dash is crack free and the wood is clean and in excellent condition as well. On the Pass side rear door the lower trim has come off. The little clips that hold it on are in need of replacement.
The AC does not seem to blow any cold air. My intentions were to have this looked at but never found the time. The heat works great and the fans blow as they should
Original Radio works well.

New Alternator Belt
New Sheepskin seat covers on front seats and front headrests
Purchased parts for rear wheel bearings (have not installed)

I'm asking $2300 and the car is sold as is. Shipping costs and arrangements will be the responsibility of the buyer.
