the most incredible color combo w123 230te
i just found this car while looking at the ebay germany site.
i can say never seen this color combo? is this the rarest color combo? i think this color combo is the ultimate. the green mb tex is awesome!!!!! i have been comteplating bidding on the car due to color combo!!!!!!!!!!!! i emailed the seller but no response yet!!!!!!!!!

The seller calls it a "dark green" (Die Aussenfarbe ist ein schönes dunkles Grün) which is paint code 221.
These are all the MB green paint codes I could find for that W123 era... 218 lindgrün 221 dark green (dunkelgrün) 226 moss green (moosgrün) 229 medium green (mittelgrün) 231 perlmutter grün 249 spruce green (malachite) (malachit)* 254 pine green* 256 crystal green* 259 forest green (waldgrün) 260 oasis green (oasengrün) 261 willow green* 268 dark green (dunkelgrün) blaugrün? 269 tourmaline green (turmalingrün)* 270 blue green (blaugrün) 272 amazon green (amazonitgrün)* 274 light green (hellgrün)* 278 tundra green (tundragrün) 279 vivianite green (vivianitgrün)* 282 jungle green (dschungelgrün)* 291 dark olive (dunkeloliv) Best thing to do is run the VIN at MB Club Russia to decode all its optoins and build codes... maybe the seller will respond to you with that info already. It won't hurt to ask. S123's are still so  !!

It's got a trailer hitch, but he says the tranny is in great shape. But he has sweetened the differential, which must have made an impact on the engine and transmission if he did much towing, no? I'd want to have that looked at, I think.

I don't believe the seats and door panels are original. The rest of the interior plastic trim is the darker avocado green. I don't believe I've ever seen that lighter green color on any Mercedes before.

I think it's original... there were many unusual color choices for euro version 123's back then... many... even with contrasting hues.
Here's another example of a green on green - a friend's original '78 300TD palm green wagon:

pea green. . horrible. . . I perfer more classic colors, like tobacco and henna and my personal favorite Tobacco. .
On a side note, the Philippines must be the place for cool old euro benz's as demonstrated by TheBenzBar's pics above.
