79 240d w84 Euro engine and transmission N.Cal

it has 300k or more on the engine. the compression is excellent. tested a year ago and got 360, 380 400 and 425 respectively. it has a new timing chain and clutch. all injectors tested good by bosch
has some minor rust on the bottom of the front driver door and a tiny bit in the trunk
It looks very nice inside and out
a couple of minor dings and a couple of paint chips but all in all its beautiful
Brown interior looks good is from another car so acouple of pieces of carpet
are slightly different shade,still looks quite nice. i took some photos out by the coast for a nice backdrop ill post some of the other photos later
I wish I could keep it . I got the engine and transmission from my euro 84 which i finally threw in the towel on. engine and tranny ran perfect but when the ignition jammed for the second time it was it. after adding the cost for all the work to get the thing road worthy not including labor was over 2K and I still would be left with a rusted holey car. you get the point.
Of course I dont really want to sell it ,but ive got another euro 300d with
a transplant turbodiesel engine and i like it best and cant afford to keep two
Car is located outside of Santa Rosa,Ca.

no leaks oil or burning

Just wanted to add that she dosn't leak oil or burn excessive oil. i usually have to add 1 quart per oil change interval. Id say approximatly 1500 mies and it will need 1 quart. thats driving all different ways. it goes 80 mph easily with plenty of pedal left. I have gotten it to 90 in the donor car but it was a little shaky. the donor car was a mess on the suspension so i didnt stay at that speed long.
I've been driving it for the past month and a half and all is well. very nice acceleration for a 240d. it starts instantly after the glow cycle even on the coldest days. the coldest I've tried to start it was 0 F. started instantly.
i have driven this engine on biodiesel, but never svo or wvo.

4 speed

wouldnt be be selling if it was a five speed. Im beginning to like this one more than the 300d. Its more sound mechanically. I hope im doing the right thing in selling it. It is a very smooth and reliable vehicle. the 300d has a better stereo though.
