1993 300CE Sportline
Yesterday I was walking around my new neighborhood with my kids and discovered a red 300CE Sportline. The owners came walking home soon thereafter and told me the car was soon to be for sale because a new child is in the picture. The woman who owns it got it from her mother, who bought it new. I didn't get the complete rundown or the mileage, but since this woman got it from her mother, it has been serviced regularly at Hunt Valley near Baltimore. The car looks good, the paint looks extremely good, the red is bright and the sportline badges are on the fenders.
Anyway, I just thought I might be able to help anyone here looking for one of these unusual babies to get an inside track, since it isn't even for sale yet. I would jump all over this thing if I didn't already have three MBs and my girlfriend would murder me. But, if you are interested, let me know and I'll try to hook you up with the lady. She did say she is most interested in getting it into the hands of someone who is into MBs.

I went and looked at a 300CE the other day and they are kind of an interesting car.
I wondered if somebody could tell me what a "Sportline" car entails as opposed to a garden variety 300CE. I can't imagine owning a red car, but price and condition can sometimes move people past that. Try to get pics when possible, and pass on any pertinent info if you would......

I'm not an expert, but play one on the radio and have a Sportline CE. They have more wood, tighter suspension, different steering wheel, and look cool. Mine has the Lorinser body kit also.

Green is my favorite color. I also forgot to mention that although not standard, mine has the Remus exhaust. More of my green cars below. Just sold the wagon though.

There is a very nice 300CE for sale near me. Spotted it yesterday, but didn't go take a closer look. It is Black, an ender for me.........
 Oh, and in the quest for Green, Teal does NOT count!!!!!!
