1980 450SL, 84,576 miles. Located in Las Vegas. Rust-free desert car. Previous owner badged it as a "500SL" but rest assured it's a US-delivery 450SL. Spent it's entire life in San Diego and Las Vegas. Runs perfectly, drives very nicely. Passed the strict Nevada smog test easily. Good original interior. Rebuilt steering box, new hi-pressure power steering hose, new A/C module, new front subframe mounts, new alternator, new battery, has period German Centra wheels with decent Toyo tires. European headlights . Nice wood steering wheel. Just changed crankcase oil to Amsoil 5/30. Recently got over 21 mpg driving to Los Angeles and back. No leaks or surprises. Jet black with grey MB Tex interior. Convertible top has some tears, driver's seat spring could use repair (sags about 1" on the left side), that's about it.
