'84 240D Euro 5sp for sale
After some time of trying to figure out an economical way to change engines, my Euro is for sale - or trade for a running 123/115.
I don't have any pictures - will try to get hold of a camera & fix that. Data: Broken cam - other damage in engine unknown. Euro IP good, no leaks. Body good - only rust is at LR of back glass from bad gasket, then a small spot on LR door and behind LR tire - both where the water drained, I believe. Car was bought in France; spent most of its life in Venice, Fla - circus people. Exterior - white -- paint reasonable, no clear coat Euro bumpers a little rusty - clean up pretty well when waxed. Interior - Burgundy cloth, still in good overall shape, Burg carpets OK. Front windows - power (work) Rear windows - crank (work) Mobil 1 10-30 in tranny, changed every 10K or so..... Synth in Diff, too Manual AC - I think it's a USA add-on - changed by PO to 134 & worked poorly - bought a new evap & was going to redo back to R12. Dash fan works only on high Heater core leaks slightly when it's used (from using the orange a-freeze before I knew better) Custom receiver trailer hitch, used once to move my boat to GA. 4 speakers & crap replacement CD & radio No problems with the axles, tranny, or diff that I know of -- the car cruises at 80 if it's flat. Newish FR Bils Comforts, upper BJ, all steering except idler assy. Have the lower BJ & bushings, idler kit. New $420 Cooper tires & ($69?) AZone batt. Best offer in $$ or a trade - may want to put my new tires on a trade, dicker for other new parts I have on hand, etc. Car is near I-95 midway between Jacksonville, Fla and Savannah, GA (in Brunswick).
