Heck, they almost give those things away on the local Craigslist so you should be able to find one OK.
I don't know a thing about what people think about them mechanically or from a reliability stand point, but I do know they're about the ugliest little suv ever......

I'm just thinking that the people who bought those things are not the typical DIYers that many of the diesel types are. When the owners hit their tolerance threshold for paying for repairs they dump them on Craigslist. With that possibility in mind I've been toying with the idea of picking one up myself and taking on the upkeep challenges, lack of good looks notwithstanding.
