Looking for a 86 to 89 W124 with M103 engine running parts car. Prefer Black exterior. Rust not a problem so long as it is driveable. I want an operating sun roof. Should be one in MI. I was going to write you direct to keep your eyes open for a little W124, 86 to 89 in BLACK for me. Then I thought I might as well put it in the Forum. Has to be BLACK sedan. I know there are a lot of them in your area. I don't need one badly, definetly don't need an engine. But there are things I like to look at that I would rather go into on a parts car then my black baby. I do have a tendency to approach part replacement with a minimum of knowledge and skill. I am not happy with the drivers door on mine. I suspect it has been hit at some time. Drivers seat needs some work. The old girl who owned the car in LA seems to have had trouble keeping away from the curbs and the wheels are not sharp. Lots of rash! And I just don't want to mess with that sun roof without playing with one I can junk out. Then it is an old car and I have had great fun in parting out a couple W123's and so I think it is a good way to go. And I often think of you when I fire that 103 up. It sure is a dandy. Have it put away for the winter now. Probably won't drive it until end of March.
