PFS; 1993 300E black/ black 3.2 ltr - FL
PFS = possibly for sale ..........I think this car is worth at least 6,000. considering the overall condition; the 3.2 engine; and the model.......
I can't see selling it for any less. Any interest or comments please advise.....(description as close as accurate as I can be.) It is a blast to drive but I miss the rattle rattle. ........................................................ 1993 Mercedes Benz 300E $6000. The original retail price of a 1993 300E (3.2) was $49,900. This 3.2 300E is rare and prized by Mercedes fans. Only 5,492 were sold in the US. 4 door sedan/ Tilt Sunroof / Engine & Transmission are excellent. Color combination is Black on Black/ leather. The ride on streets & highways is smooth and straight. Handling on this yr/model is exceptional....This is the 3.2 fuel injected engine that is well known to be one of the best gasoline engines Mercedes ever built. Actual miles 112,544 ( * avg is under 7000 per yr ) Excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. Always maintained and serviced when necessary. Interior is black leather and excellent condition. Almost looks new. Dash clean like new. I do have 2 front seat new unused Black Sheepskin seatcovers that are custom fit and made for this yr & model 300E. Unistalled. I am 2nd owner. I have had several Mercedes diesels, and this is my 1st gasser in 4 years and want to go back to diesel. I purchased this car in April this year as an inheritance from original owners grandson. Always serviced by Mercedes trained mechanics. In April mileage was 99,990 and I have done almost all FL Turnpike miles driving back & forth from West Boca to Miami each weekend. ( 90% hwy. ) At purchase I has installed all new German Parts rotors; and brakes all around. 4 hi end Khumo all season radial tires with approx 70% life left. Previous owner took care of the one costly issue the 93 300Es had and replaced the wiring harness. All electronics work as they are supposed to in any Mercedes. OEM R134A A/C blows cold as should. Heat blows hot. No fluid leaks at all. All good rubber. Quiet ride. All Windows Sunroof work properly. Needs nothing but an oil change...... I also installed a very nice Pioneer headunit with Sirius receiver and ext Sirius antenna. In April I had the entire car looked over by Mercedes trained mechanics and the only repair needed was a minor Drive belt damper; and had new rotors & brake pads installed all around. Also changed PS and fuel and oil filters; I did have set of Euro style headlights installed which are currently on the car. "Take them or leave them..." I am including the original set of headlights and flashers ( with headlight wipers ) in purchase. The left driver flasher on the Euro is missing so going back to the factory originals may be welcome. All lights work fine. There original black Mercedes paint shines very well for a 15 yr old vehicle. There are a couple of small minor clearcoat spots on the roof that show minor signs of age as expected. The car is not mint but it is very nice. PLease call or email for questions or an appointment for test drive or inspecting....Owner & car are in west Boca Raton ( Glades & 441.) FLORIDA Private seller: Cash Bank or Cashiers Check Only - No personal checks.. AA

Car sounds nice Austin, but is overpriced. I only say that because I have been looking at W124's for a couple months now.
Not raining on your parade, but after all, it is only a "Possible" sale..... There have been quite a few of the W124's with the 3.2 liter around here and in Austin and Houston. Even the CE's were less than that......

Here is why it is worth all of 6,000. My gf just bought a 2008 SUV for 17,000. and I would rather drive this 15 yr old 300E anytime of the day!!! If you have been looking for a 3.2 300E you should drive one on the highway. This still looks close to new and in excellent condition. The black leather seats are still soft as a good pair of ladies gloves..... It is in almost the same condition as it was when it sold for $50,000 15 years ago. In today $$$ that is a 75,000 car. So if you want one and you can get one for 3,000. - 4,000. you should grab it. I do not think it will be as clean as this one but if you are ok with the trade off that's all good. I do not have to sell it so that is why it is PFS. But I miss my 300CDs and do not have the room for another car unless I sell this. Thanks, Austin

You know Austin, I'm just not comfortable with my post above, and need to apologize publicly. Your asking price is non of my business, and unless I'm trying to buy the car should have just kept my mouth shut.
I was just trying to interject the information I had been looking at, but again, it really wasn't my place to do that. Sorry! Jimmy

Possibly a pet peeve.
Possibly going to buy this car in the next twenty minutes. Possibly.
Oh, another favorite, a "feeler". Jeez. Either the car is For Sale or it's not. There is no in between. Either stick an solid, honest price on it or haggle like a grown up. Damn, I sound like my Dad. I read into this that you have a lot of time and love invested. Good. Post this in another section and I will Ooo and Ahh in all the appropriate places. Post it as a "feeler" or a "possibly" and I must interject. Nothing personal. When you do get around to maybe, kinda-sorta, waffling, I can't decide, No.. really going to sell it , put a good price on it, post it up FOR SALE, time to dicker, pull out your money, let's talk turkey, how much is that dog in the window, hell no, I won't take that lowball offer, what's your counteroffer, handful of cash speaks LOUD, nope, yup, OK- selling it: Pictures sell the car. Honestly, a description is appreciated, but the pictures pull the cash. It sounds very nice looking. Here are the good-natured smiley faces to disarm the aggressive post. Jay
