German built VW Wagon 2005 45 MPG

I bought this Jetta Wagon and prefer my heavier, slower, less MPG '95 E300D. The wagon has 160K, always serviced at the dealer with full synthetic, 5K oil and filter changes, timing belt changed. Leather, heated seats, has ESP traction control, moonroof, Goodyear tires(almost new). The car is fast and I have been getting 41 MPG around town/suburban driving. It is a 5spd and is made in Germany. The price is $10,000 and is firm. You can drive a smart car and get 41 mpg or this wagon and haul lots of people and things! Its safe with 8 air bags and a very good crash rating! 502-266-9426.

Congrats Ernie -

I've seen your posts over on Fred's (starting some time ago) and have followed your "plight" in selling a highly desireable car during the wrong trend in diesel fuel pricing.

Glad to see it's sold; I've been tempted on several occasions to contact you - but there is always a car I'd like to buy..... we enjoy our '01 Jetta and I love the mileage it returns.

Thanks

Running Snail--Yes I bought the car and preferred my big ole Mercedes. I'm giving up 15 MPG driving the Mercedes but I like it. Also my daughter announced she was getting married. I needed the money from the 2005 wagon. I lost $3000.00 in the transaction. Oh well, I lost $80,000 in my retirement account so this was just another punch in the gut! Ernie
