Neither my budget nor driveway nor life has room for it but is the shifter in the console or column?

I think shifter is on column

My plans to visit my in-laws and get mor epictures of this car over Easter weekend were scrapped. We are now planning on going Jine 6 so I will be able to get more and better pictures if anyone is interested in this car.

Here is the only picture I have right now....

I thought they were all automatic and the shifter was in the console. Never saw one with the shifter on the column; maybe a euro version?

heck don't take my word for it - its been a couple years since I saw the car in person so I was trying to go by my feeble memory!

Shifter could be in the trunk for all I know.

Just trying to help my father-in-law sell the car. He wanted to give it to me but I just don't have the resources to do the car justice.

I'll be going down to Arkansas to see him in early June so I can get a lot more pictures and info then.

Please let me know what kind of stuff you guys would want to see in the pictures and any specific info you would want.

thanks,
Steve

Great old car

In good condition, this is one of my favorite Mercedes of all time. Great engine. Last of the "Grosser Benz". The air suspension is magnificent to experience. The fabulous Roser leather, and overall build quality is incredible on these cars. In rough shape however, they are a heartbreaking nightmare.

Wanted by individual - 1961 - 1971 Coupe and Sedan

I am searching for a good 3.5 or 4.5 sedan and any 111 coupe (six or eight cylinder) to restore/make road worthy again. I could use some parts as well if anyone can help...seats, grill, A/C system, chrome trim, dash wood, and other misc items.

Please contact me in the evening at home at 817-926-3306 or email me at peterswannie@sbcglobal.net. Thank you.
