I have a 1979 300sd that was running as of a year ago. Missing alternator, Right rear taillight, and battery. Will not run in its current state.

Make me an offer.

Location and physical condition? Paint, rust interior, etc.

Located in Columbus, Ohio. Missing minor pieces and parts. Slight rust. Interior has been picked through. Paint is peeling near sunroof. Power sunroof.

Why was it parked? Known mileage?

If you're expecting anything more than a few hundred dollars for a partially parted out car, you have your work cut out for you. Complete parts cars usually get $500 or less unless they're in extraordinary cosmetic condition, or excellent mechanicals.

You could get more money if you decide to sell parts individually, but that also is labor intensive.
