So I am getting ready to sell my 240 so I can get a 500SEL. I have all repairs from the first owner marked in the maintenance booklet, and about $900 in repairs from the second owner (only owned it for about a year). Since I have had it I've replaced the vacuum pump and thermostat, all thats left to do before I sell it is charge the AC and replace the alternator tensioner bolt and tighten the belt. The car is mint all around except one dent on the passenger side door. Paint is excellent, tires are good, interior is clean, no rust, no cracks in the dash. 200k miles, shifts very smoothly. The vacuum on the locks holds over night! I am thinking to sell it for $3,000. What do you all think?

A bit optimistic here at 3k, but not out of the question on the open market
