FS: '94 E320, black/black excellent!!

I fell in love with this car when I saw it, bought it without a second thought. Drives as good as it looks. I have enjoyed owning it.

But, too many cars around here and I've got to reduce the fleet or build a bigger garage. I'm in a mode where I need to carry things around with me so a car with a perfect interior isn't going to be used much.

The car is in very good condition, everything works down to the little lights in the vent controls. Windows work, sunroof works, cruise, ACC, all of the little things that often need attention are great on this car. It pretty much drives and operates like new. The steering wheel is soft and smooth, the Zebrano wood is rich red-brown with the coating nice and clear, the black leather (heated) seats are softer and nicer than any of my other 124s (past and present), even the center storage compartments work perfectly with no damage to either the leather or sliding-wood doors.

The body is generally in very good condition with glossy paint, there are a few blemishes & dings, much better than the "in good condition for it's age" crap that you keep reading in ads.

The '94 is IMO the best year for the 124, the newer seats, lights, door-panels, bodywork, 8-hole wheels, electricals, sound system etc., without the "thrifting" that caused the '95 to lose some of the standard features from '94.

Gorgeous black over dark-metallic graphite lower panels, black leather that sets off the zebrano wood like no other color, this car is stunning and is the reason that "black Mercedes" sounds so right together. It has a very formal presence inside and out. Drives perfectly, for this price it'll be hard to find a car that satisfies both sides of the brain as well as this car does. Driving it is like wearing a good tuxedo.

M104 engine, smooth and powerful, 2.65:1 gears which gives you good economy with around 3,000rpm @ 77mph. Uses no oil, currently running Mobil 1. This car also shifts perfectly.

Indicating 145,000miles which seems to be accurate according to the carfax when I bought it.

I'd like to get $4450, might settle for best offer.

The zebrano wood shifter does not go with the car, it was a gift for my first 124 back in '92, sentimental value, the original leather knob goes back on. Also the trunk triangle, keeping it, the original trunk lid liner will be re-installed. The (analog) phone has been removed, you are welcome to it if you want it.

Feel free to email me jamiller@iserv.net

I'm curious what the differences are from '94 to '95 that you speak of.......

Thumbs up

Nice car B-mog. I would be all over that like a hobo on a ham sandwich but due to this "mild recession" I need to get back to work before I deserve a sweet benz like that. Good luck with the sale. Someone is gonna get a sweet car for a sweet price. Jim

Maybe he's been consumed by his Gasser-to-diesel swap project.....

Bah, I have a diesel i was willing to "swap out" for his gasser, but he wasnt too interested. I am hoping to sweeten my offer up a bit so we can work a deal.

You mean a whole car? He seemed pretty into swapping engines in his '95 last time I heard from him....he already has a motor for it.

I wonder where he went, he hasn't been on the forum since the 16th at 10:45pm! Nearly 5 days!

Sorry I've been off-line, it's spring and I have boats going in the water, last-minute changes and all I haven't had any time.

I wish I were spending the time doing the diesel swap, maybe Paul would be down here sniffing the fuel if I were. Wrong season for that I'm afraid, need to make clients happy.

PMs sent.

I'm going to have to back down on this one, unfortunately.

Sold the wagon, but there's another black benz calling my name.
