I am sadly selling my 91 500 SL. It has been cared for meticulously since new. It has a little over 98k miles but drives like new.
The Hard Top has been in storage most its life, and the soft top could be replaced (priced replacement at $1450-1695). The plastic windows have small cracks.

There is a small 1 inch spot on the passenger seat that needs to be re-tied due to split at seam. The car is very clean. Paint is very nice and tires are in great shape.

No, you just may have to sit on it for a while to bring top dollar. If you list it on craigslist for 1.5-2k less I'd imagine you would have a buyer within 24 hours.

Plflyman, the right buyer is out there. Craigslist can work, but the scammers also feed there (I "sold" a rough 420SEL 3 times. At least that's how many checks I got. $2500, sight unseen, for a $600 beater and all I needed to do was forward the difference to their "shipper". It got old real fast).
