I am selling a 1981 300TDT to be fixed or you can part it. It is too nice for me to part it(I loved this car), but if I dont get $800 for it, I may do just that. Here is what you get, a clean, super solid wagon with one bad motor. The odometer stopped in 2002 at 268k. At least two cylinders have burnt pistons, and the rest, I believe have burnt valves. Other than the motor, mechanically the car is in top shape. The transmission was rebuilt a few years back and has no slipping, or flaring...shifts great! I JUST put MB re manufactured axles shafts in it. The differential showed no signs of wear. All the brakes are good. The rear accumulators are NEW, the hydraulic valve has been gone through, the system is full of MB fluid. All the filters are new. I have re manufactured injectors that I never got to put in it. The alternator is re manufactured, and the injector pumps flows like it should. Cosmetically the car is super clean. The exterior is Manilla Beige with only a few superficial rust spots( the floors and everything are super solid), the roof rack is bent and there are two small dents in the roof from a tree limb. One of the rear doors is a lighter tan because I had to replace it from the limb( you will get both doors, the original is fixable). The interior is Sienna, and has the third seat. The third seat is not installed but goes with the car. The front and rear seats have been redone and do not sag, and have no tears. EVERYTHING works. I have two Becker radios, the one in it that works great, and a spare. Have a ton of spare parts. If you have a rusty wagon with a good motor, or know where you get a good motor, then you are going to have a heck of a wagon. I do NOT have the TIME or the MONEY to fool with it...that is the only reason I am getting rid of it. I have complete service records going back to 1984, and all the original paperwork. The car is in Raleigh, NC and you will have to arrange pick up. Thanks.
