COPART is selling a 1980 500SL nexts Wed. in N.C. ...It has a manuel transmission with a 6 cyl. engine. Not sure why they call it a 500SL...I think it is a euro 280SL with a manuel transmission.......I would guess it will sell for about $1,200. It does need work, but has a clean title....You can visit copart.com to see it. You would however need a member to bid on it.....gene2

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, it sounds like a 280, unfortunately it needs to be a true 500 AMG modified black SL but thank you for the heads up.
