Here's a lesson I learned a long time ago with cars like this - the first one who meets the owner is the first one who buys it. You don't have time to think about it, you don't have time to say "I'll get to it after lunch"; you see the ad, you call the guy, you go over as soon as he'll let you, then you say "I'll buy it" - the next guy behind you will do the same and you'll be ***** out of luck.
For $8000, if the mileage is real and the condition confirms it, you can't go wrong on that car. If it was in Houston, I'd have owned it by now.

X2. If that car were closer to me and legit, I'd buy on the spot!

Whatever it was, it ain't there now. Did you see it or buy it?
Often times when a guy misprices a car too low, they withdraw the ad. Then re-list it for a ton more money! |

I used to do that too, but then I got a license and went legit.
Although, now that I think of it, I never told anyone what I was going to do with the car, keep it or flip it. I just made an offer and bought it if the offer was accepted. Once I owned the car, it was up to me what I did with it. And I do remember buying certain cars fully intending to keep them, but then something even better popped up so I sold one to buy the other. And last time I checked, I did not tell anyone I was a doctor either. Bruce |
