you guys scare thehell out of me when it comes to trying to sell a car. but here goes anyway.
1983, 300D. runs decent. starts well. looks decent. some rust in the normal places. clean inside, front end just aligned. transmission is kinda funny as it shifts too fast for me and when its warm, seems to s l i d e into 4th gear. ive gotten use to it so i normally start in 2nd and leave it there unil im at highway speeds. tires are fair, brakes work great, there is no sunroof, and the radio seems to have the antenna disconnected. i put a lower quarter panel on it, rebuilt the inner fender at the same time as the edge was eaten away. thats the drivers side. not a hack job. i have not tried the a/c and i assume it does not work. but the heater and controls work great. it has 180 k on the clock and i have no reason to think its not accurate. the car came from minneapolis originally and i got it at a salvage yard as the transmission only worked in reverse. i replaced the thing that was bad in the transmission and have been driving it ever since. it runs sweet, holds the road straight, and does not appear to burn oil and gets 26+ miles per gal. is it worth $2000 or what ? i have another one im working on from washington state thats a mess and the wifey is really upset about all the projects i have around the farm. a reasonable offer would be accepted.
