1991 Jeep Wrangler - Getting the boot for my new 280SE 4.5
Price reduced to $4000.
Hey, I didn't see too many none Mercedes cars posted here, but I didn't see any rules against it. This Jeep is getting the boot to make room for my new '72 280SE 4.5. 1991 Jeep Wrangler 4 cylinder with manual transmission. 64,000 miles Good paint, mechanicals. Rear limited slip. Sat outside at a friend's cabin for a couple years before I bought it. It was covered, but the Squirrels got to the dash. It was torn out in order to replace with a CJ style dash. I have since lost interest in the Jeep and due to the addition of another car, need it to go. Up until a week ago it was garaged after I brought it down off the mountain. The jeep originally had AC, but the under-dash portion was destroyed by the squirrels. I still have the compressor, mounting bracket and other misc. parts. It currently needs shocks, and the dash finished. 3.5" Superlift brand lift Limited slip rear differential Brand new Autometer Speedometer, Tachometer, Fuel level, Water Temperature, Voltmeter and Oil Pressure gauges. New seatbelts Hard top (not fitted, needs rear glass) Half doors with soft uppers. 33" Tires I'm asking $4000 OBO for this great condition, low mileage YJ. If I finish the dash, mount the top and add the shocks myself I plan on asking at least $6000. Feel free to give me a call with questions. The Jeep is located in Gilbert, Arizona. They chewed through the dash harness, anything rubber in the dash, anything plastic in the dash and left in their wake about 10,000 acorns. The harness has been replaced, but as you can see the dash still needs to be finished.
I took the jeep down a bumpy dirt road after I changed all the fluids. I hit a small bump and there was a rumbling deep within the bowels of the jeep. The rumbling was a precursor to up with several hundred acorns falling onto my feet. I laughed so hard I almost ran head first into a full grown Saguaro cactus. |

its so nice to see an older jeep that is not all rusted to dust. i thought i wanted one to drop my extra 300d turbo and automatic in but to take a $4000 investment and start bastardizing it would not set well with my wallet or my wife. good looking vehicle however. . .

That sounds like a fun swap. The 4cyl in this is is adequate. A diesel conversion done well would be very nice.
I jumped on the Jeep when I found out my friend was selling it - but it turns out I like the comfort of my Landcruiser more |
