the guy told me that it was a 300d turbo auto. i've only seen it around town. it looks good, but i'm not a fan or the euro models. plus, i'm in the process of putting a converting my 80 240d manual to a euro 300d manual. i'd be happy to test drive it if your interested.

I asked because turbo 617s were only offered in wagons outside North America so either the seller incorrectly assumes it has a turbo or it's not the original engine.
Antenna position doesn't look factory. Sixto 87 300D |

Most Euro's had it on front right quarter panel. Might not have come from factory with a radio, or either had the front fender replaced at some point.
Hurry up on the Squash Andy. Gonna be the best little "240D" around!!!!

squash will be on the road soon! i broke my scapula -shoulder blade- in may and haven't been able to do anything. a construction company put an unmarked 3ft fence accross the bikepath and i hit it with no warning doing about 20mph in middle of the night. plus, the wife is due any minute! i would say sometime in october will be the soonest squash will be in the road. maybe i can farm out the work? don said that he would do it but rather expensive! but i can't wait!
Jimmy, i'll stop by as soon as i get it back on the road! |
