1987 300E

For sale is my 1987 300E. This car has 114K miles, Smoke Silver exterior with accent pinstripe and Bordeaux leather interior and has been maintained.

I purchased it in late November of 2007 with 104k miles. VIN #WDBED30D5MB361893. I have a carfax report showing the service history from new.

Very well equipped with automatic transmission, PS, PB, PW, Power tilt-slide sunroof, tilt-telescope steering wheel and heated front seats. Power antenna works. Original 15” factory alloy wheels with General Altimax HP, original jack and tools present.

Safety items include: driver side airbag, ABS-antilock brakes, ETR-emergency tension retracting front seatbelts, central locking system and factory passive alarm.

Original owner’s manuals and all keys are present

Here is a list of items replaced during my ownership of this car:
• Oil and oil filter changed every 3,000 miles since purchase
• Transmission rebuilt at 107,360 miles
• Head gasket replaced at 107,360 miles
• Blower motor replaced at 100,376 miles
• New Transmission Cooler Lines
• All four brake lines replaced, brake fluid also replaced
• Sway Bar Bushings replaced
• Control Arm bushings and ball joints replaced
• Engine mounts and Transmission mounts replaced
• Front & rear Red floor mats included (not the black HUSKY mats)
• MB battery
• Set of MB maintenance manuals
• Service Manual CDs for w124 model
• Maintenance records since purchase.
• Certificate of Title – State of Connecticut

The Negatives:
AC system has a leak.
Sometimes there is crackling at the speakers when ignition is off. As per Becker technician “This is an indication that the radio is not fully shutting down. There is a very high probability that a variety of capacitors in the audio output circuit are leaking and this radio is ready for some tender loving care. This is an extremely common symptom and very repairable.”

I am selling the car to make room for a 4X4 vehicle that I can use year round.
Asking $4,500
