Well I'm off to school in a couple weeks and have 5 cars and no money so its time to start selling. This car was formerly owned by my father who ran vegetable oil in it however I have since then rescued it and got it running good. The engine still idles rough but runs strong and has plenty of power (for a 240). The transmission has a slight hesitation when upshifting from second to third under hard acceleration but otherwise shifts perfectly. The body has some minor surface rust spots, some of which were repaired rather poorly using the wrong color paint. The car has minor collision damage where the hood was tweaked and now doesn't sit right on the body however it does open and close fine. I did replace the grill, headlight bezel, and radiator but not the ac condenser as the air conditioning has never worked. Otherwise the body is reasonably straight and the original paint is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good condition except for; drivers' seat has detached from base, rear drivers' floor mat is missing and front passengers' floor mat has some grease stains, and the dash has some cracks which are covered by a dashmat. The front windows go up and down fine but the rear two do not.

I am firm on my asking price of $1,200 as I feel it is a more than reasonable price for a ready to drive 240D.
