FS, 81 240TD (Wagon) Auto Euro
 

There is an '81 240TD (Wagon) for sale in my area. It is white with Palamino interior. It has and automatic transmission. The asking price is $5,000. It is sitting out in front of a local import parts store, Columbus Import Autos. I do know the owner of the store. I buy parts there and we did talk about this car a few months ago. Actually, my car was sitting out in front of his store for sale. The phone number for the store is (812) 378-5000. I remeber the car owner being a body shop guy in the area. He was selling off a number of his own cars. There were a few 70's Vettes.
I did look at the 240TD early in the morning, so low light. It looked very good. Still, I'd need to look at it in better lighting. If I can be of help let me know. The owner of the store is honest, and he would know more about the condition and history of the car.

I did look at the car in daylight. From the story I've been told, this car wasn't driven much, about 81K on the OD. It was tied up in inheritance settlement for a while. The perosn who bought it, owns a body shop. He went through the car and repainted it. From my perpective, he did a very good job. The interior is velor, and overall excellent. There is some wear on the drivers seat. I didn't look at the engine bay.
