For sale: 1985 300D $850
 

For sale 1985 300D with California emissions on it.
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Hello all I am posting this here first since I want to see my car go to a good home. This isn't a parts car but it does need some help hence my 850 price point.

Mileage: Odometer stopped working at 195,XXX but I really belive this isn't too far off from what the real mileage is Title says 225,000 to be safe.

New or recently replaced parts, battery, front brakes and rotors and bearings, injector return lines, motor mounts, fuel filters/air filters, oil change, radiator flush, drivers side window, glow plugs and glow plug relay.

Interior: Car does have good seats, a few dash cracks, someone tore a hole in the fabric near the rear light trying to fix the moonroof (not me mind you)

General mechanical: Car runs and drives very well, shifts a little rough but transfluid is fine (leads me to belive its the vaccum modulator), ALDA has been turned up by previous owner. So it does smoke more than a normal W123 but runs a little quicker. Back brakes will need to be done soon. Good tires and great heat.

Exterior: Okay so very little rust, sorry was thinking of other car. Does have a few dents and the paint needs to be refreshed (see pics), chrome trim on the car. Grill needs to be replaced, I have a new grill that will go with the car.

Things this car needs:
Injectors (smokes on start up but then runs fine after a few minutes)
Vaccum issues with locks
needs transmission vaccum modulator adjusted/replaced
car doesn't shut off
Interior needs work. (see pics)
A/C Just needs to be recharged.......Lol kidding, I assume the whole thing will need to be replaced.
Moonroof doesn't work.

I have tried to be as honest as I can like I said this isn't a parts car, just needs some attention I can't give it right now. If you have any questions let me know. I am hoping to sell this quickly. Oh and in a few days I will put on craigslist but again hoping to give to a good home. Thanks for looking.

sorry it took me so long to get back to you, yes the car will make it. Once it warms up it drives very nicely. But I have someone on Craigslist who "might" buy it for the 800 I wanted out of it. I will post if he doesn't show. Again "might"........damn this economy is bad....

750? I have listed all the problems I am aware of, car runs great once it warms up.

750 and to sweeten the deal will include valve cover gasket and a set of injectors to get rebuilt! Car also comes with a new grill! and you will get a hug! (hug not mandatory)

drive to florida for vacation and you will have a buyer!namely ,me!;)
