Cool cool article. Unfortunately I got to see the car with the doors down. B pillars and SEC's don't really get along too well. Throw in the plastic undersized doors and all the weird bulges and fender flares (don't get me started on the integrated ducktail spolier thing or the godawful TV in the dash.) and this design falls flat on it's face. NOW, if they had just crammed a 6.9 engine into an SEC, I'd be drooling.

This reminds me, anybody else like to watch "Pimping My Ride" on the cable? I like to see the skills that are applied to the pimpin', even if I don't agree with the end result.

This might be surprising coming from me, but it isn't really that bad. Now the front grill and lights would have to be changed out immediately, but the rest isn't horrible.
Let's not get too "holier than thou" about Mercedes. After all, they have a minivan now............

I think it is pretty cool aside from the wheels. I'd change those but the car itself is pretty neat.

I saw a craigslist post this morning for a "mercedes LSD kit". Cool I thought, a limited slip differential swap. Nope, "L" for lambo. So very sad. -CTH
