Conversions of the w126 into limo form are pretty popular outside the US. I've seen a couple and they're pretty darned neat.

Someone buy it and put a 606 in there!!!!

OMG! What a POS.

Someone hacked up a perfecly good 500SEL euro to make this thing. Looks like about 4-6 foot stretch. Bottom pan weld seam was NEVER painted/undercoated and is rusty. The rear doors have latching issues which I suspect is from the chassis sag. Interior is shabby, falling apart. The dark green paint looked to be a cheap respray. Odometer is showing only 41K miles but the trip is stuck at zero.
Engine sounds OK and the visable passenger side cam looked good and was oiling well. It looked to have a decent front suspension, nothing loose that I could feel.
While it was running one of the employees removed the battery cable to clean it. So much for the electronics...

I wished them luck with the auction. Somebody might score the front and rear bumpers. Other than that I didn't see anything I wanted.

I took a few pic with my Iphone I'll post later.

From what I gather the price would qualify. He said they'd like to see around $800. I'll pass.

i actually owned this one back in 2002-03. it was also a 500sel but it was professionally done and had 74k original mile. that car was nice and drove perfectly
