2000 A160 Mercedes on Ebay!! (Really!)
How awesome is this!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-Mercedes-Benz-A160-RARE-VA-Titled_W0QQitemZ320489421664QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item4a9ea87b60 Those of you who read Mercedes Enthusiast magazine will recognize it. Seems like a screamin' deal even if it's Broken. I'd love to have it if I had the bread and the garage space. |

First off, I doubt "Awesome" is applicable to that ugly little effer!
I saw one of those on the mean streets of DFW several months ago. Hideous little things, and they are little.......

First one I've ever seen legally titled in the US thats fairly distant from Canada / Mexico. They might be ugly but they're pretty fun to scoot around in on the cheap. It's a fun beater thats one of a kind and still (more or less) a Mercedes.
I think it's neat to see one outside of europe. |

That would be a good little car for my sister. I wonder if you can get parts for it at any MB dealer?

If you can order euro parts for a W126 I'd think you can order parts for that thing...
I think it's kind of neat looking. I like it better then the Smart. -Jason

You'd probably have to order most from overseas, but shipping probably wouldn't kill you.

The A-class is huge in Europe; I'd like to have one here in the US just to be different, but my garage and driveway are full - like all good MB owner's.

Drove one
In Germany a few years back. They tool along at 160 kph (100mph) with no trouble at all.
HOWEVER - I think I'll keep my 300SD!!

An article about a B-class owner in the U.S. in The Star said that B-class parts and service are impossible to get at U.S. dealers. I imagine it may be the same for the A-class since it's never been imported here, either.

I sent a message to the seller , I asked how difficult and where to go for service. Get this they drive the the car to Mexico & get the car serviced over there! So with that too bad I really would of loved it!
