I'm guessing that the under-hood photos are from a different car also.

Where exactly did that wierd top come from? An old LeBaron? Was the car a coupe or a cabrolet before it met its pain?

I don't think they made cabriolets in '88. It was probably a coupe. Can we say bowl of Jello?

For some reason, I bet that interior smells like a mixture of weed and mildew.

I'm gonna go see it, it's near me in Philly. I want $5 per picture, and $10 to clandestinely record my conversation with the seller.

That's cheaper than any comedy club you'll ever go to, and I am damn sure it will be funnier too.

I was thinking the same thing... It looks like a junkyard mish-mash of MB, K car, and Fox body Mustang parts all put in a clothes dryer and tumbled until they stuck together in random places!

A buddy of mine in Philly sent me that link last night. I love this line:

ITS A MERCEDES A NAME THAT SPEAKS OF ITSELF, & ITS NOT A REGULAR MERCEDES ITA AN AMG WITH A V8 ENGINE.

Somehow I don't think that top down photo is of this car either...

I can't wait to see how he will invest some money ON his Ferrari (probably a Fiero kit car )

Reminds me a little of the car that Natan Johnson (Steve Martin) drove in "The Jerk", if this were a Firebird.

I'm curious as to what the MS-paint photoshop attempt was trying to hide around the headlights. Anyone else notice the really poor attempt at editing these photos? It must be that artistic vision of his.

Oh goodness...the window tint is actually white SPRAY PAINT. Look closely and you can see it - he left a little area to see the side view mirrors. Also looks like a bit of overspray on the windshield? I don't think I've ever seen a bigger piece of junk, especially a mercedes. I'd check it out since I'm in the area but honestly I'd be scared for my life even meeting the person who did this.

Oh, AND the cherry on top - the ebay free vehicle history report indicates the last reported odometer reading in 1995 as 75,000. Hmmmmmmm....

Heh, I once found a green w124 on fleabay with "Kustom" paint, wheels entirely too large, and a cloth "gucci" interior. It made me so sad inside.

I just threw up in my mouth. Nice find JiveTurkey. I know I'm a bit late to the party here but here's my $0.02.

I've seen some disgusting messes in my day, but none as grotesque as this.

I like cars as they were designed, it would be arrogant for me to think that I could do better than the army of engineers that M-B has on payroll.

His story is full of holes just like this car was when it was shot up.Im guessing target practice not some glorious hollywood killing bad guys dead event. He mentions body work on door ritteled with holes ,(bondo).Price purchased from auction , 5k plus.If I was buying a shot up car ,(at an auction no less), the walk out price would be more like $500.Keep dreaming guy ,maybe your dreams of selling a story will come true .
